Trim (Baile Átha Troim within Irish), is the traditional county town of County Meath in Ireland, although Meath's administrative centre is nowadays Navan. A town & its quick environs were recorded in the census of 2002 as having the people of 5,894.
Set Lx m above sea level on the Flow of any stream Boyne, Trim was one of the first English settlements in the Middle Ages. In the 15th century the Anglo- Norman parliament met in Trim. A Duke of Wellington was born nearby; a big column remains to this day touching the centre of the town as a monument. Trim Castle is a famous historical places & was utilized as a backcloth in the making of the film Braveheart.
